It won’t cost you anything, you might win something, but at any rate, you’ll help a conservative beat Romney, and you’ll get to stick it to that smug asshole from Massachusetts. What do you think?”
Mitt Romney wins the Iowa Caucus by 8 votes over Rick Santorum. Herman Cain (who dropped a couple weeks ago) and Buddy Roemer (who hasn’t been taken seriously by the GOP) combined to get 89 votes, and “No preference” garnered 135 votes.

It’s 7:50 ET and caucusing has not started yet. But as you can see in this screen grab, The Des Moines Register is ready. Even putting Herman “Uz-beki-beki-stan-stan” Cain and Buddy “Who?” Roemer on the list, along with that reclusive candidate, “Other.”
